These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of KeyForge (the "Service"), a free password generator operated by padmajp.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
KeyForge generates random passwords in your web browser using your browser's built-in cryptographically secure random number generator. Passwords are created on your device. They are never sent to us, and we never store them.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for how you store, use and protect any password you generate.
- You are responsible for checking that a generated password meets the requirements of the service you use it with.
- You are responsible for keeping your device and browser secure. Malware or untrusted browser extensions on your device may be able to read what appears on screen or in your clipboard.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or compromise the Service or the infrastructure it runs on;
- copy, frame or redistribute the Service in a way that misrepresents its origin.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. These include, but are not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular security requirement.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, padmajp.com and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes any loss of data, unauthorised access to your accounts and lost passwords.
6. Third-party links
The Service links to third-party websites, such as Buy Me a Coffee. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Intellectual property
The KeyForge name, design and website content belong to padmajp.com. Passwords you generate belong to you. Third-party fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License. Passphrase words come from the EFF Large Wordlist, used under the CC BY 3.0 US license.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will change. Your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
